The KL Writers Workshop is a literature and content development agency based in KL – short for Kuala Lumpur – the capital of Malaysia. KLWW seeks to explore the artistic and social power of creative writing through pioneering and collaborative projects with writers and other partners in genres that embrace the written word in its many literary forms.

In a country where refugees and migrant workers are treated as less than human, the KL Writers Workshop wants to work with communities where we are able to empower people with words and with their stories. To use writing as a tool for expression in a country where freedom of expression is now a crime.
