Herman Divendal (1948-2015) was the Executive Director of AIDA Nederland, the foundation that supported artists in exile for many years. Upon request of Mies Bouhuys he became the Chair of the Board of In den Vreemde Foundation. Until his last breath Herman Divendal chaired the Board of In Den Vreemde full of committment, energy and dedication. His decisiveness and passion for the cause will be missed.
